David is a 1989 Graduate of Rutgers University and a 1992 Graduate of Widener University School of Law. Admitted to practice in all Pennsylvania State Courts and the Eastern and Middle Districts of Federal Court. Always a voice for the “underdogs”, David relishes his role as an aggressive advocate for the injured against the Goliaths of the insurance industry.

David has been a trusted member of Matkoff & Shengold since 1994 and has served as head of both the Workers Compensation Section and the Civil Litigation Section. In the course of his over 25-year career as head of the Worker’s Compensation Section, David has taken hundreds of workers compensation cases to decisions and settlement. As a member and prior head of the Civil litigation section, David has tried to decision, by juries and arbitration panels, hundreds of accident claims in both State and Federal courts.

David regularly sits as an arbitrator in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
